Jerome's review  of 1/8/15 is absolutely spot on and very detailed so I won't repeat  what he said except to say I agree with everything. We were a party of  about  30 (ranging in age from 1 year to 60+) and we came for our son's  wedding. I was a bit concerned driving from Cabo-we engaged a shuttle  service for the 2+ hour drive- because it seemed we were going to the  ends of the earth it was so remote. But it was a pretty  drive and once there, you will be amazed that this place exists. No, it  is not the Ritz Carlton, but the views are gorgeous and pristine and  the sleeping accommodations were more than satisfactory. Unless you are a  traveler that requires "white glove treatment"  and the razzle dazzle of a 5 Star Fodor designation, Rancho De Costa  will meet your every need and impress you. The staff made everything  seamless for the ceremony and the food! Oh! The food! Our entire party  raved about every meal- presentation and taste.  The "on call" bartender (she was delightful) made wonderful drinks. The  chefs were always accommodating and the staff kept the grounds in tip  top shape. Our group rented Four Wheelers, snorkeled, picked up coral,  swam, had massages, danced...everything except  fish because of some high winds. If you need a vacation that includes  shopping this might not be the place for you because of its remoteness,  but other than that I cannot praise Rancho De Costa enough. It is  perfect for reunions, weddings, large gatherings,  etc.
